Information We Collect
When you use Appicon Studio, the service may collect the information you submit directly and technical data needed to operate the product.
- Project information such as the project name, selected platforms, icon settings, colors, shape, zoom, padding, and export file name.
- Uploaded image assets and related file details such as file name, MIME type, and image data needed to generate export packages.
- Usage analytics such as page views, uploads, preview activity, export events, device type, general country information, timestamps, and a generated session identifier.
- Browser-side local storage used to keep a session identifier so analytics events from the same visit can be grouped together for a limited session window.
How We Use Information
We use the information collected through Appicon Studio to provide the core product experience and maintain the service.
- To generate Android and iOS icon exports and package the resulting download files.
- To save project records and support app preview or export workflows.
- To understand product usage trends, improve reliability, and review aggregate analytics in the admin dashboard.
- To detect operational issues, investigate misuse, and protect the service.
Analytics, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
Appicon Studio uses browser local storage to keep a session identifier. That identifier helps connect
events such as page visits, uploads, and exports during the same session. The current implementation
does not rely on advertising cookies.
The service may also infer approximate country information from request headers or browser locale data
and may classify your device as mobile or desktop based on the browser user agent.
Storage and Retention
Project records, uploaded asset references or data, and analytics events may be stored in the service
database so Appicon Studio can create exports and review product activity. Information is retained for
as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service unless a shorter retention
period is required by law or internal policy.
Sharing
Appicon Studio does not describe selling personal information in its current implementation. Information
may be processed by infrastructure and hosting providers that help run the website and backend systems.
Information may also be disclosed when required to comply with law, protect the service, or respond to
valid legal requests.
Your Choices
- You can avoid uploading sensitive images or confidential artwork if you do not want that material processed through the service.
- You can clear this website’s local storage in your browser to remove the stored session identifier from your device.
- If you need a data access or deletion review, use the support or contact channel associated with Appicon Studio.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the date at the top of this
